For over a decade we've been seeking out and thoughtfully presenting the world’s finest coffee and tea.
EST. 2014
Boxwood Coffee was established in 2014. It started the way a lot of good things do, small and a little scrappy. Our first café opened in Summit, New Jersey, and we roasted our coffee out of a garage.
More than a decade later, the bones of the company are the same, but the operation has grown up around them. We added a second café in Westfield, sharing a space with our Roastery, where we roast every bean we serve and ship to wholesale partners across the country.
What hasn't changed is the obsession. We still source coffee with the same care, still dial in every drink to the same standard, and still believe the details are what separate a good cup from a great one. The garage is gone. The mindset remains.
