Dark Roast

Dark roast coffee beans at Boxwood stop at medium-dark, which is as far as the roast goes here. Two coffees sit at that end: El Jefe, a washed blend that reads as dark chocolate, sugarcane and walnut and is the base of the cold brew, and Silver Lining Decaf, a Mexican decaf taken off caffeine by the Mountain Water Process, on raisin, lime and sweet almond. Both are roasted to order in Westfield, New Jersey, in 12oz, 1kg and 5lb bags, whole bean or ground for drip, pourover, French press, espresso or cold brew.
