How the Boxwood Coffee Subscription Works

Subscriptions are built on the blends because the blends are the coffees that taste the same every time. Pick one and you know what is coming. Pick the Staples rotation and we send a different house blend each delivery so you get the range without having to think about it.

Choose a blend or let us rotate

Subscribe to a single coffee if you have a favorite: Hill City for a balanced medium roast, El Jefe for a chocolatey dark, Tempo for espresso, Headshot for a brighter shot, or Silver Lining if you want decaf on repeat. The Boxwood Staples Subscription rotates through the core blends so every delivery is a little different. Seasonal single origins and Labs releases are not on subscription because they sell through before a cycle ends.

Your size, your grind, your schedule

Bags come in 12oz, 1kg and 5lb. Grind is set per delivery: whole bean, drip, pourover, French press, espresso or cold brew. Delivery frequency runs from weekly to monthly and is set on the product page. Pause, skip or change the grind from your account between deliveries.

Roasted the week it ships

Nothing sits on a shelf. Subscription orders go into the roast schedule for the week they are due, so the bag arrives days off the roaster, not weeks. If you grind at home, whole bean will hold its peak longest. If you want it ground, it is ground the morning it ships.

How often can I get coffee delivered?

Anywhere from weekly to monthly. Pick the frequency on the product page. Most households on 12oz bags land on every two weeks.

Can I pause or cancel my coffee subscription?

Yes. Pause, skip a delivery, swap coffees or cancel from your account page at any time, with no fee.

Can I change my coffee, size or grind between deliveries?

Yes. Swap to a different blend, change the bag size or the grind from your account and it applies to the next delivery.

Can I subscribe to a single origin or a Labs coffee?

Not yet. Those lots are seasonal and sell out, so they stay one-time purchases. Subscriptions run on the year-round blends and the Staples rotation.

Can I gift a coffee subscription?

Yes. Gift subscriptions are on the coffee gifts page and ship to the recipient on the schedule you choose.
