Boxwood brings a fully equipped mobile coffee cart to events across New Jersey, staffed by our own baristas and stocked with the same beans we roast in Summit and Westfield.

This isn’t a folding table with a thermos. Our cart is a real setup: a commercial espresso machine, a trained barista, and a look that fits everywhere from a corporate lobby to a backyard party. If you’re picturing a coffee cart at your event, this is what that should look like.

What Comes With the Coffee Cart

Every coffee cart booking includes the cart itself, a commercial espresso machine, and an experienced barista who runs the whole service. Espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and loose leaf teas are all standard, made with our house-made syrups and your choice of regular or oat milk.

The cart works as a standalone feature for smaller gatherings, bridal showers, birthday parties, office celebrations, or as part of a larger catering setup for bigger corporate and wedding events. Either way, it's the same cart, the same equipment, and the same barista-run service.

We price by the hour, fully inclusive. Cart, barista, equipment, coffee, cups, travel anywhere in NJ. No per-drink charges, no setup fee tacked on separately.

A coffee cart works anywhere people are gathered and a good drink makes the moment better. Bridal showers and engagement parties are some of our most requested cart bookings, since the cart photographs well and gives guests something to do beyond standing around.

Office parties, holiday events, and employee appreciation days are another common fit, especially when a company wants something that feels more special than a coffee urn in the break room. We’ve also brought the cart to birthday parties, graduation parties, and small private celebrations where a full catering setup would be more than the event needs.

We bring the coffee cart to events throughout New Jersey from our home base in Summit and Westfield. Regular booking areas include Morristown, Princeton, Short Hills, Madison, Chatham, Basking Ridge, Westfield, Summit, Jersey City, and Hoboken.

Morris County, Union County, Somerset County, Essex County, and Hudson County are all within our standard coverage area with no travel surcharge.

Coffee Cart Catering FAQ

What's the difference between booking the coffee cart and full coffee catering?

The coffee cart is the equipment and barista service itself, a great fit for smaller events like showers, office parties, and birthdays. Full catering can include the cart as part of a larger package with more customization for bigger events like weddings and conferences. Either way, you're getting the same cart and the same barista-run service. Reach out and we'll help you figure out which one fits your event.

Can I book just the coffee cart for a small event?

Yes. The coffee cart works as a standalone booking for smaller gatherings, bridal showers, birthday parties, office celebrations, and similar events. There's no minimum event size to book it.

Do you provide the barista, or do we need our own staff?

Our coffee cart always comes with one of our own baristas. They run the full service from setup to breakdown, so you don't need any additional staff to make it work.

How much space does the coffee cart need?

The cart needs roughly a 5x5-foot space and access to a standard outlet. For outdoor events without power access, we can bring a generator so the cart runs independently.

How do you price your packages?

We charge by the hour, and all of our packages are fully inclusive of the cost of our baristas, equipment, travel fees, and supplies, including coffee, cups and lids, regular and alternative milks (oat milk), and our housemade syrups.

What do you need to set up?

All we need is level ground, a 5x5-foot area, a power outlet on a dedicated circuit, a space accessible by wheels so we can get our cart in place, and a day-of point of contact to show us where to set up.

What drinks do you offer?

Our carts are coffee shops on wheels. We serve café classics like espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, loose leaf teas, and matcha, along with our house-made syrups (Lavender Vanilla, Caramel Cardamom, Mocha). We also offer our signature Honey Cinnamon Latte and can create a custom signature drink for your event. Cold brew and iced drinks are available as add-ons.

How far in advance should I book?

For most events, 2 to 4 weeks advance notice is ideal. For larger conferences or events with custom branding, more lead time is helpful. We can often accommodate shorter timelines — reach out and we will let you know what is possible.
