Coffee Catering for Montclair's Creative Crowd

Montclair is about 17 miles north of our Westfield roastery, up the Garden State Parkway. As an Essex County town, it is inside our standard area with no travel surcharge. We bring the full mobile espresso bar: cart, commercial machine, barista and coffee roasted by our own team.

Montclair's calendar is heavy on the arts. There are film screenings and gallery openings, garden parties, studio shoots, and weddings planned down to the last detail. A barista-made latte suits a crowd that notices the difference.

Montclair Venues and Event Moments

The Wellmont Theater, opened in 1922 and restored as a music and comedy venue, sits on Seymour Street in the town center. Montclair Art Museum hosts exhibitions, concerts and films, with American art by painters such as Edward Hopper and John Singer Sargent. Van Vleck House & Gardens, a 12-acre estate dating to 1868, holds concerts and garden parties, and Montclair State University hosts conferences and campus events. Each October the Montclair Film Festival fills the Wellmont and The Clairidge with screenings.

Montclair Coffee Catering FAQ

Can you set up for an outdoor garden wedding?

Yes. The cart needs a level spot about five feet square, and we can bring a generator if there is no power in the garden. Check your venue's rules on outside vendors first.

Do you work at studio shoots and creative events?

Yes. A barista-run cart works well on set or at a launch. Tell us the call time and the space, and we will fit the setup around your crew.

Is there a travel fee to Montclair?

No. Montclair is in Essex County, which is inside our standard service area, so travel is included in the hourly rate.

How far ahead should we book for festival season?

Two to four weeks is a good baseline. October weekends around the Montclair Film Festival are busy across town, so book earlier if your event falls then.

How do you price your packages?

We charge by the hour, and all of our packages are fully inclusive of the cost of our baristas, equipment, travel fees, and supplies, including coffee, cups and lids, regular and alternative milks (oat milk), and our housemade syrups.

What do you need to set up?

All we need is level ground, a 5x5-foot area, a power outlet on a dedicated circuit, a space accessible by wheels so we can get our cart in place, and a day-of point of contact to show us where to set up.

What drinks do you offer?

Our carts are coffee shops on wheels. We serve café classics like espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, loose leaf teas, and matcha, along with our house-made syrups (Lavender Vanilla, Caramel Cardamom, Mocha). We also offer our signature Honey Cinnamon Latte and can create a custom signature drink for your event. Cold brew and iced drinks are available as add-ons.

How far in advance should I book?

For most events, 2 to 4 weeks advance notice is ideal. For larger conferences or events with custom branding, more lead time is helpful. We can often accommodate shorter timelines — reach out and we will let you know what is possible.
