Bringing Our Espresso Bar to Princeton

Princeton is about 27 miles south of our Westfield roastery, by way of I-287 and Route 206 or down Route 1. It is farther than our core Union and Morris County area, so we confirm availability and any travel charge in your quote before you commit. What arrives is the setup we bring everywhere: a mobile espresso cart, a commercial machine and a trained barista.

Princeton's events lean academic and corporate. Think university receptions and symposia, conferences in the Route 1 office parks, and gatherings at the historic homes and gardens around town. A specialty coffee bar suits the long sessions and attentive crowds these events draw.

Why Princeton Planners Consider Boxwood

Campus and conference events come with paperwork: vendor registration, insurance certificates and strict setup windows. We handle our side early, including a certificate of insurance under our commercial liability policy, so your approvals do not stall.

We are a working roastery, not an equipment rental. The coffee comes from our own Westfield roaster, and the baristas behind the cart also staff our cafés in Westfield and Summit. Long symposium days are where that experience counts.

Coffee Service for Princeton Conferences and Receptions

Conference days usually need the espresso bar running through morning registration and an afternoon break. The menu covers espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites and teas, with our house syrups and regular or oat milk.

Receptions and garden gatherings can add a signature drink, iced options or matcha. Organizations hosting visitors may want branded cups for a polished look.

Pricing is hourly and inclusive. For Princeton, any travel charge is listed in the quote.

Princeton Venues and Event Settings

Princeton University's campus, across Nassau Street from Palmer Square, hosts lectures, Reunions and departmental receptions. McCarter Theatre Center presents theater, dance and music, and Morven Museum & Garden, the former New Jersey Governor's Mansion, holds exhibitions and special events. On the business side, Carnegie Center and the Princeton Forrestal Center house office campuses along the Route 1 corridor, where research and life-science firms hold meetings and trainings.

For company events, our corporate coffee catering page explains formats and timing. For receptions and weddings, see our wedding coffee bar page.

How Booking Works

  1. Tell us about the event

Date, venue, guest count, hours. Priced on the spot.

  2. We build the package

We confirm the setup, the menu and the service flow.

  3. Lock it in

Approve it and you are on the calendar. COI if needed.

  4. We show up and pour

We load in, run the bar and break it down.

Princeton and the Route 1 Corridor

We will quote events across Princeton, from downtown and Palmer Square to the campus, and along Route 1 through West Windsor, Plainsboro and Lawrence Township. Hopewell, Pennington and Kingston are in reach too. Each quote shows travel up front, so there are no surprises. Campus venues, office parks and private homes all work, as long as there is room for the cart.

Princeton Coffee Catering FAQ

Do you travel to Princeton?

We take Princeton bookings on a date-by-date basis. Send us the venue, date and headcount, and we will confirm availability and any travel charge before you book.

Can you meet university vendor requirements?

Usually, yes. Share the department's vendor forms and insurance requirements early. We will send a certificate of insurance and any details the university asks for.

Can you cover a full-day conference or symposium?

Yes. We can run service from registration through the afternoon break, with the bar staffed throughout. Share the session schedule so we can prepare for the busiest moments.

Can we have coffee at a reception after a lecture or performance?

Yes. A coffee bar works well at an evening reception, with lattes, teas and a signature drink. Tell us the venue and start time so we can plan setup.

How do you price your packages?

We charge by the hour, and all of our packages are fully inclusive of the cost of our baristas, equipment, travel fees, and supplies, including coffee, cups and lids, regular and alternative milks (oat milk), and our housemade syrups.

What do you need to set up?

All we need is level ground, a 5x5-foot area, a power outlet on a dedicated circuit, a space accessible by wheels so we can get our cart in place, and a day-of point of contact to show us where to set up.

What drinks do you offer?

Our carts are coffee shops on wheels. We serve café classics like espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, loose leaf teas, and matcha, along with our house-made syrups (Lavender Vanilla, Caramel Cardamom, Mocha). We also offer our signature Honey Cinnamon Latte and can create a custom signature drink for your event. Cold brew and iced drinks are available as add-ons.

How far in advance should I book?

For most events, 2 to 4 weeks advance notice is ideal. For larger conferences or events with custom branding, more lead time is helpful. We can often accommodate shorter timelines — reach out and we will let you know what is possible.
