Coffee Catering From Westfield's Own Roastery

Our roastery is in Westfield, inside the café at 143 East Broad Street that opened in 2018. When we cater an event in town, the coffee travels a few blocks or a few miles, not across the state. We roast to order Monday through Thursday in that same building, then bring the beans to your party with a mobile espresso cart and a trained barista.

Westfield gatherings are often close to home: first communions, graduation open houses, block parties, holiday get-togethers and showers. Downtown shops and professional offices host client mornings and staff breakfasts as well. Each one gets a barista-run espresso bar sized to the guest list.

Booking Boxwood in Westfield means the coffee was roasted in town by our own team. That is the real advantage here, and it shows up as freshness and as a crew that knows local streets and halls.

If a venue or club asks for insurance paperwork, we provide a certificate of insurance under our commercial liability policy. Planning is easy, too: the café is a short walk from most of downtown, so you can drop in and talk through your event over a latte.

Westfield Event Coffee, Your Way

A full espresso bar suits bigger Westfield gatherings: espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites and loose leaf teas, made with our own syrups and regular or oat milk. Our Honey Cinnamon Latte is on every event menu.

For a smaller house party or a shower, the standalone coffee cart is often enough. It fits in a driveway, a sunroom or the corner of a backyard tent, and we can bring a generator where there is no outlet.

Add-ons include cold brew, matcha, iced drinks and custom cups. We bill by the hour with everything included, and Union County events carry no travel surcharge.

Westfield Events and Gathering Places

Mindowaskin Park is the center of Westfield's outdoor calendar, with free summer band concerts on Thursday evenings, a spring egg hunt and a community gathering after the Memorial Day parade. Echo Lake Country Club, founded in 1899 around a Donald Ross course, offers banquet rooms in its renovated clubhouse. Downtown, the blocks around East Broad and Elm Street are where shops and restaurants cluster, and where many residents meet for coffee already.

Westfield Coffee Catering FAQ

Is the coffee actually roasted in Westfield?

Yes. Our roastery is housed in the Westfield café at 143 East Broad Street, and we roast to order Monday through Thursday. The beans served at your event come from that roaster.

Can we try the coffee before we book?

Of course. The Westfield café is open 7am to 6pm every day. Order a latte and an espresso, tell us what you liked, and we can build your event menu around it.

How much notice do you need for a local event?

Two to four weeks is ideal. Because we are based in town, short-notice Westfield dates are sometimes possible, so ask even if your event is sooner.

Can you serve a party at a private home?

Yes. A home party needs a flat area about five feet by five feet for the cart and an outlet nearby. If the setup is outdoors with no power, a generator solves it.

How do you price your packages?

We charge by the hour, and all of our packages are fully inclusive of the cost of our baristas, equipment, travel fees, and supplies, including coffee, cups and lids, regular and alternative milks (oat milk), and our housemade syrups.

What do you need to set up?

All we need is level ground, a 5x5-foot area, a power outlet on a dedicated circuit, a space accessible by wheels so we can get our cart in place, and a day-of point of contact to show us where to set up.

What drinks do you offer?

Our carts are coffee shops on wheels. We serve café classics like espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, loose leaf teas, and matcha, along with our house-made syrups (Lavender Vanilla, Caramel Cardamom, Mocha). We also offer our signature Honey Cinnamon Latte and can create a custom signature drink for your event. Cold brew and iced drinks are available as add-ons.

How far in advance should I book?

For most events, 2 to 4 weeks advance notice is ideal. For larger conferences or events with custom branding, more lead time is helpful. We can often accommodate shorter timelines — reach out and we will let you know what is possible.
